May Loan To Kiva!

Greetings!

This month we were able to help Adelaida Bautista from the Philippines. Adelaida is a very hard working woman who is determined to improve her family's standard of living. She joined Kiva in 2005 to gain access to loans that would help fund her entrepreneurial dreams.
The first few loans from Kiva helped her support the family's fishing and hog fattening business. With this new loan she will continue to put money into supporting the business and even expanding it! Her future goals are to purchase a new jeepney so they can expand territory of their fish selling buisness to surrounding neighborhoods. By owning her own transportation she can save time and money all while expanding. The income from her business will help support her dream that her children will complete college degress and find good jobs.

Kiva is a wonderful program and I urge all of you to check out their website!

Wishing You All A Blessed Day..

New Kiva Loan Made!

Some of you have have read from time to time my blogs about the Kiva program. I urge all of you to take a few minutes and check out this great organization. Click Here to learn more. This month I have been able to make a new loan to Esther Adedoyin. Esther is married and has 5 children. She is determined to pull her business and family out of poverty. Reminds me of a time when I was a broke single mom trying to make ends meat and provide a safer place for my young son to live.

At that time in my life a friend introduced me to the network marketing industry which changed my entire life. The industry has been very good to me and I follow my passion now to help others experience not only financial freedom but time freedom as well. Along with that I am proud to be able to help others around the world by using the Kiva program.

Esther sells groceries like milk, sugar and toothpaste and she has been in business for a long time. Her hopes are to own a supermarket one day which will allow her to have even more one-on-one interaction with her customers.....something that she really enjoys.

Creating Windows Of Time

Creating Windows Of Time...Maximize Your TIME And Your Business!

Are you working your home based business part time while working a full time career? Trying to find TIME to do it all?

Create windows of time by charting out your day from the time you get up until the time you go to bed. Hour by hour...chart it out.

Where do you see small amounts of time that can be used for your business or perhaps things that could be postponed or eliminated to work your business. Ask yourself...is what I am doing right now making me any money? Am I in an Income Producing Activity or IPA.

Where Are Your Open Windows Or Small Increments Of TIME?

If it is early morning...then make calls to people in later time zones.
If it is late at night then make calls to people in earlier time zone, send out emails, post messages on blogs, message boards, and other social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.

Make the internet work for you while you are working during the day and sleeping at night by using your self-replicating website, auto-responding emails. During your lunch hour make calls, address direct mail pieces and hand out and product samples. If you are out running errands make sure to have brochures, samples and business cards to hand out....remember you build your business by building relationships.

Ask existing customers/clients for referrals. Then ask the referral for referrals after they become a customer by doing this you can create an unlimited supply of people to talk to.

Stay Visible!! Find ways to keep yourself and your business visible.

Of all the people you meet:

3% are ready to buy your product or service.

7% are unsure at the moment but interested in the information.

The other 90% are not ready at this time.

These 90% are the people you must keep in CONTACT with. So when they are ready they remember YOU and you product/opportunity....not someone else.
Keep the communication flowing!

To Your Success,
Sheri

Two More Kiva Loans!

How exciting we were able to make two more Kiva loans last week! The first loan was to Regina who lives in Nigeria. She is married and has 5 kids and is 48 years old. She is a very focused and hard working woman and requested a loan from Kiva in order to buy more sarongs that she can resell to her customers. We contributed $25.00 and she will replay the loan. Make sure to click on the link abouve to see just how this grest program works.

The second loan was to Beauty and she is 38 years old and is married with 6 children. All of her children are excelling in school and I am so happy to be able to help. Beauty owns a grocery stall where she sells drinks and groceries to make a living. She has had this business since 2001. She works long hours in order to meet the demands of her customers and she hopes in the future to be able to own a supermarket.

This is a wonderful program and Kiva is the world's first person=person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend to unique entrepreneurs around the globe.

Helping The Homeless In San Diego

Recently MVPmv and Kristin's Kidz were are to help the homeless on the streets of San Diego ...Click Here under Announcements to read a very heart felt recap of the experience by Tracy Jacobsen, Director of Kristin's Kidz and her opportunity to help distribute the gifts with a well known photojournalist, Susan Lankford.

MVPmv will continue to collect the hat gifts for the next couple of months and pass them out to those in need. Buck Reed and I would like to thank all of the people from MVP and our Womens Empowerment Night that helped contribute and write special messages for those who were out in the cold.
Pictured here are Photojournalist Susan Lankford (L) and her daughter Polly in Susan's studio in downtown San Diego just minutes before hitting the streets to pass out the hats and blankets with Tracy. Pictures behind them on the wall are some of the photos of the homeless that are featured in the book, downTown USA.
Again thank you all for helping with this project.
